Creative Industries
This qualification reflects the role of individuals with the skills and knowledge to perform in a range of varied activities in the creative industries where there is a clearly defined range of contexts. Activities are of limited complexity with required actions clearly defined.
It provides a steppingstone for further studies, going into work and becoming actively involved in the community. It also provides participants with foundation skills which are applicable to a range of industries.Employment Pathways may include, but not limited to, working in print, radio, and television opportunities, editing and other customer service opportunities.
Further Study Pathway: Completion of the Certificate III and IV in Screen and Media. Individual training plans are developed in consultation with the student, trainer, and mentor. Opportunities are available to study some units online.
Students are offered the opportunity for recognition of prior learning (RPL) during the enrolment process.
